ronaldo return to old trafford

Cristiano Ronaldo

It was precisely 19:13 GMT on Tuesday when Cristiano Ronaldo stepped on to the Old Trafford turf.
He was back at the ground for the first time in nearly four years; it was 1,406 days since he was last here for a Champions League game when he wore the famous red, white and black of Manchester United.
This time he was wearing the real madrid kit for his homecoming.
Ronaldo waved, thumped his chest, waved again. His head bowed for a respectful moment before putting his hand back on to his chest. Just for a moment, those emotions must have threatened to run away from him.
And the Manchester United support welcomed him back with a standing ovation which lasted until after referee Cuneyt Cakir started the match.
The final whistle brought agony for United and mixed emotions for Ronaldo, who hugged Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney before receiving another rapturous ovation from the United supporters near the players' tunnel.
This was Ronaldo's 18th Champions League match at Old Trafford. He has only been on the losing side once, but this victorious return ended with mixed emotions.
"It was emotional, it was unbelievable. I don't have words to explain what I feel" said ronaldo.

So whether he is returning or not to old trafford the fans still adore him and showed him great respect.

Rooney leaving...

wayne rooney to leave united

The England striker, 27, was dropped by Ferguson for Tuesday's round of 16 tie second leg against real madrid, with Danny Welbeck preferred.
so this instantly led to a craze within the media that wayne rooney would be sold by this summer. Just because a manager chooses one player over another doesnt mean they are getting rid of them.
sometimes you need to change the formation and players to put the other team off.

"He'll be here next year," Ferguson said. "You can have my word on that."
"There is no issue between myself and Wayne Rooney. To suggest we don't talk is nonsense.
"He understood the reasons completely. Tactically we got it right. We don't always but we did then.
"Welbeck is the best player we have in terms of operating a double role. We had to chalk out Xabi Alonso's ability to control the game, which he did, and also his ability to go further forward as an attacking player.
so as fergie put it put ur pens down or laptops from wherever you are repoting nonsense and wait for the summer transfer window to actually open and then we can see whose really leaving and staying.

Bradford going to wembley!!

Bradford vs swansea city....the final

Robbie Savage -
"Swansea are showing Bradford the utmost respect, they are not taking the mickey, they are still trying to get another goal and fair play to both sides. They have both worked hard but at the end of the day Bradford have been outclassed."

This pretty much somes up the wembley match that took place on 24th february. The match being  the most one-sided final in Wembley’s history. Swansea City are the most emphatic winners of a major domestic cup competition since Bury defeated Derby County 6-0 at Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final in 1903.
Bradford City were out of their class from the start. It was a pity, certainly for their fans, who waving their flags in a forlorn gesture of defiance for much of the second half. The odds conspired and continued mounting up against the fourth-tier team.

As if this was not enough,  Bradford goalkeeper Matt Duke was sent off in the 56th minute — correctly — for a foul on Jonathan de Guzman, whose resulting  penalty took Swansea’s lead to 4-0.
Not that it made much difference. Bradford were as ineffectual with 11 players as with 10, indeed their only shot of the game, on 87 minutes.

This was Swansea’s first major trophy in 101 years and the first to be won by a Welsh club since  Cardiff City defeated Arsenal in the 1927 FA Cup final.
I believe even though bradford lost the final they deserve alot of credit for getting there as they worked hard so we will see next year how far they will go.

Messi vs ronaldo

Now that we have read and gone through both profiles I'm gonna ask the million dollar question?
Who is the worlds best player?

When Barcelona meet real Madrid The biggest subplot is The battle of Lionel messi vs Cristiano ronaldo.
They are the two highest paid football players in the game. Each has won world player of the year and has scored in a champions league.

Such is messi's skill that the ball can appear glued to his feet as he manoeuvres himself out of tight situations and finds teammates when it seems he is surrounded.
Ronaldo is more of a showman than messi and can take your breath away with his array of stepovers and flicks. But in some matches when the stepovers are taking him nowhere he stands accused of producing style substance.

One of the reasons messi is a successful player is his chemistry with his teammates where they all agree he is a hard working And combines well with them all.
Ronaldo is a player almost beyond reproach but one of the gripes some teammates have had with him is that he can be selfish and too obsessed with making a difference on his own.

In conclusion both players have the talent and skill to playa good game and entertain the audience.
So if it's entertainment you want then ronaldo is the player to watch as his skills can leave you breathless
But if you want results then messi is ur better option. A team player who gets the results
.
The worlds best player.... I think ronaldo and messi are gonna have to Share the accolade for now...
